The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a nighttime shooting in northwest Bakersfield where a deputy may have been involved. No official details have been released about the incident that happened after 9:30pm on Knudsen Drive and Olive Tree Court, but it’s believed a suspect being pulled over may have pepper sprayed the deputy and took off, prompting the shooting. No arrests or injuries have been reported.
