A man who was found dead early Monday morning in southwest Bakersfield has been identified as 73-year-old Skyler Meighan, but it’s not clear how he may have died. Firefighters found him around 12:30am on Selkirk Drive in the Laurelglen area as they were responding to a structure fire on the same block, and it’s not known if the incidents are related. An autopsy will determine how Meighan died.
