Human remains have been found in northeast Bakersfield.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office reports the remains were found at the Kern County Soccer Park in the 9400 block of Alfred Harrell Highway at around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The age, race and gender of the remains are unknown. The coroner will also work to determine the cause and manner of death.
