Murder charges have been filed against a man in connection to the disappearance of a McFarland man four years ago.
The Kern County District Attorney’s Office said it filed the charges against Ray Sanchez, 34, after the disappearance of Oscar Oliva, 27, in April 2021.
The DA says evidence shows Sanchez shot Oliva to death and disposed of his body which has not been located.
Sanchez is currently in prison for an unrelated crime.
